Friends

Friends premiered on NBC on September 22, 1994.  The series is about 6
20-something friends in New York City.  They are Ross and Monica, bother &
sister who hang out together.  Ross is a museum curator and Monica is a
somtimes working, sometimes no chef.  Ross has two friends who are roommates -
Joey, a not-so-bright actor, and Chandler, the funny one of the group who
actually has a real job.  The show begins with Rachel, an old friend of
Monica's who is a spoiled rich girl, leaving her rich fiancee at the alter and
moving in with Monica.  Then there is Phoebe, who is a bit of a free-spirit
who is truly worried about animals and the environment.  The series follows
them through their lives and loves.  This show is in any given episode silly,
serious, sad, or downright hysterical, depending on the night.
